How to Enroll:

Step 1
Active employees that participate in the SHBP/SEHBP can elect an Aetna plan by downloading their specific application on the Divisions of Pensions and Benefits website. Click here to access your application. You can locate your application under the Active Employees section of the website.

Step 2
When your application is complete, please provide your application (and supporting documentation if applicable) to your employer’s benefits office. Your employer’s certifying officer will review your application for completeness and send your documents to the Division of Pensions and Benefits to complete your enrollment.

Step 3
Upon Aetna receiving your enrollment, we will mail you your ID card which can be used at your provider’s office on your effective date.
